Shirley Ann Reeves, age 79, of Elwood, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Elwood on November 29, 1938, to the late Gale and Mabel (Corbett) Beeman. On March 25, 1967 she married Kenneth W. “Pops”Reeves and he passed away on January 2, 2010.

Shirley was a nurse’s aide for many years at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital. She loved to crochet and enjoyed fishing and coloring. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family.

Shirley will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Shirley is survived by her children, Ken Allen (wife Tracy) Reeves, David (wife Debbie) Reeves, , Brenda (husband Jeff) Moss, Richard (wife Wilma) Hardebeck,and Rhonda Mousty; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Beeman; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Gizmo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Reeves; son, Mark Hardebeck; brother, Robert Beeman; and sister, Norma Jean Jackman.

A time of family and friends sharing will be at 7pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana on Wednesday. Online condolences can be given at www.
