Walter H. Lash, 58, of Brazil, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 in The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. He was born in Terre Haute on September 24, 1960, the son of Donald R. Lash and Dorothy Woods Lash. Walter was a 1978 graduate of Staunton High School and was a security guard for the former Coke and Carbon Plant in Terre Haute.

He loved to read and enjoyed books written by Stephen King. Walter loved to watch the Cooking Channel and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors… Read More » include a daughter, Susie Light and her husband Randy; a brother, Dale Lash and his wife Brenda; a sister, Doris Griswold; a brother-in-law, James Royer and three grandchildren, Donald Johnson and Randall and John Light.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Lash and a sister, Daisy Royer. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Calvary/Van Cleve Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating.
