Ms. Ann Beatrice Welch age 91, of Doran, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Commonwealth Assisted Senior Living and Memory Care facility in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. She was born in Raven, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Cowan and Marie Hill Colley. Ann dedicated her life to raising her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur K. Welch; daughter, Shelby Jean Cordill; brother, Howard Colley. Those who remain to carry on her spirit are her: Sons: Bobby S. Welch and wife, Rosann of Cedar Bluff, VA Jerry W. Welch and wife, Gudrun of Richlands, VA Ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and host of friends also survive.

The funeral service for Ms. Ann Beatrice Welch will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Charlie Absher officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia.

Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of Commonwealth Assisted Senior Living and Memory Care. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm until time of service.
