Obituary for Dennis Schnetzler Dennis Schnetzler, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on April 25, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 64 years old. Dennis was born on February 10, 1954 in Beacon, the son of the late Leo and Josephine Baca Schnetzler.

He retired from Metro North and had also worked at Green Fan Economizer in Beacon. Dennis married the former Debra Slinskey. Debbie survives at home.

Dennis was a member of St. Rocco Society and the Beacon Elks, Lodge # 1493. In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his children, Christine Schnetzler, Joseph Castillo and Jennifer See; his grandchildren, Ariana, Destiny, Jasmine, Bianca, AJ, Ethan, Cory and Maddie; his brother, Leo Schnetzler, III and his wife, Lynda; his sister, Kathy Schnetzler; his sister-in-law, Kelly Schnetzler; his nieces and nephews, Leo IV, Jacob, his godson, Gary, Jr., Tara, Jason, Damien and Desiree. In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his brother, Gary Schnetzler.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 1 from 4 to 7p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. Members of the Elks Club will hold a service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Patrick J. Halvey of Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, LLC.
