Obituary of Frank Gerald Willett Frank Gerald Willett, 56, of Quanicassee, our loving, supportive, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on April 4, 2018 with his family by his side. Frank was born on February 15, 1962 in Bay City, the son of Frank Ray Willett and Karen (Welch) Dzuba. After graduating high school, Frank went on to answer the call of his country and served briefly in the Army.

Frank always had his eye on the neighbor girl, the former Donna Lee Faustin. On July 20, 1996, Frank married Donna, the love of his life. At the age of three, Frank received his first guitar and began lessons at age four.

Frank was known for being a “Bad Ass” guitar player, musician, entertainer, and singer. He was well known at The Willew Lounge and enjoyed entertaining the seniors at various facilities. He also loved to ride his Harley Motorcycle and was currently working on rebuilding an El Camino to drag race.

A jack of all trades, Frank was able to do anything he put his mind to and was always there to help others. Frank leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of almost 22 years, Donna; their daughter, Stephanie (Bum) Willett-Platzer and her husband, Joe Platzer; grandchildren, Raylynn Marie Platzer and Izabel Lee Platzer; his mother, Karen (Rob) Dzuba; siblings, Darrel (Paula) Willett, Arlyn (Desiree) Willett, Andrea (Carl) Muzer, Ellen (Jerry) Haines, and Barb (Kirk) Appold; father-in-law, Donald Faustin; sisters-in-law, Laurie (Rachel) Johnson, AnnMarie (Tom) Eisengruber, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Frank also leaves his fur-babies, Tillie Mae and Gracie Lou.

Frank was welcomed home to heaven by his father, Frank; mother-in-law, Rose-Lee Faustin; sister-in-law, Sheri (Fred) DePrekel; great-niece Harli Rose Lewis, along with his beloved dogs, Harley and Hank. Frank’s family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd. , Hampton Twp.

On Monday, April 9, 2018, Frank will be taken to North Euclid Church of God, 3430 N. Euclid Ave. , Bay City, where visiting will continue from 10:00 AM until Frank’s 11:00 AM Life Celebration. Pastor Brad Windlan will officiate.
