Robert Taylor Modlin, rock of our family passed away, Monday, June 18, 2018- Rob was born October 10, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in Granite City, IL. Rob has worked hard in the environmental construction business for the past 40 years, and 6 years ago became co-owner of MBC Construction. He was humble and always ready to give the best advice, he knew what to do- his greatest passion was for his family he enjoyed beach vacations with his wife and kids, fishing with his grandkids at the “Villa” , watching them play ball and teasing his friends on social media.

He is survived by the love of his life Kat Modlin- wife of 41 years, his children Amy Modlin, Kristopher Modlin, Kristina and George Wilkerson . G-pa will always be loved by Kristopher “Fizz” Modlin, Troy “T” Shrum, Alyssa”Bean” Modlin, Owen “O-Dawg” Wilkerson, Robert Cavaness. He is also survived by his siblings Debbie Finch, Cathy Modlin, , Linda Curless, Darla (Paul) Tretter, Jim (Jenny) Modlin And many favorite nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death: Mom, Peggy Modlin, Dad, Robert E. Modlin, sister Lori K Finch.
