Aliza Rose Friend, 8 days, of Oakland, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. Born, May 12, 2018, in Oakland, she was the daughter of Tyler Shane Hensley and Abigail Rose Friend, both of Oakland. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Robin S. Friend, Oakland; great grandmother, Judy Friend, Oakland; great grandfather, Paul Austin, Exeter CA; four aunts, Amber Martin (Jeff), Terra Alta, WV; BreAnna Kave (James), Oakland; LeAnn and Lacey Beachy, both of Oakland; two uncles, Jason Eastman, OH; James Shahan, Oakland; six cousins, Brent, Hayden, Rhett, James, Gracelynn and Benjamin.

Services were held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD 21550, with Reverend Russell Liller officiating. Interment was in Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland. Expressions of sympathy can be directed to the family for the purchase of a monument for Aliza.
