Karen Dawn Sutherlin, 61, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at St. Vincent Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana, while surrounded by family, on April 19, 2018. Karen was born on January 11, 1957, in Brazil, the daughter of Chester Williams II and Georgia (Winn) Williams. Most recently Karen worked for Chiyoda, in Greencastle, until her health forced her to retire.

Karen was preceded in death by her father Chester Williams, her mother Georgia Williams Nelson, her step-mother Gladys Williams, and a brother Mark Williams.

She is survived by her children: Buffy Hawkins and husband Robert, Donald “Donnie” Sutherlin II (Stephanie Johnson), Courtney Robison, and Chester “Chet” Sutherlin all of Brazil; grandchildren: Lacey Clark, Aden Johnson, Donald “Little Donnie” Sutherlin III, and Eleanor “Ellie” Robison; great-grandchildren: Mykayla Lombard, Mylee Lombard, and Mason Randall; a brother Terry Williams; three sisters: Sharon Metz of Brazil, Lori Ross of Plainfield and Penny Kidwell of Brazil as well as many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834 on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 11-1.

Services will be at the funeral home, Tuesday, at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Visit www.
