Patsy Jean Gibson, age 67, of Swords Creek, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, Virginia. Patsy was born on June 3, 1951 in West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Arnold Oiler and Eunice G. Singleton Bush. She served her family as a homemaker and had lived most of her life in the Swords Creek area.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers. Those left to cherish her memory include: Her husband, Roger Gibson Sons Richard Glenn Gibson of Lebanon, Virginia Benjamin Michael Gibson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana Brother Joe Oiler of New Castle, Virginia Grandchildren Bethany Hope Gibson Nathan Richard Dylan Gibson Mackenzie Alexander Gibson A graveside service for Patsy Jean Gibson will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Gibson Family Cemetery in New Castle, Virginia.

Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be Nathan Gibson, Mackenzie Gibson, Aaron Hutchinson, Ashley Hutchinson, and James Alford. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia.
