Obituary for Richard Brian Shreve DANTE, VIRGINIA- Richard Brian Shreve, 43, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon, Virginia. He was born in Wise, Virginia; He was a Coal Miner for 22 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and loving son.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Shreve; one daughter, Laken Meade and husband, Drew of Castlewood, Virginia; two sons, Gentry Shreve and wife, Kinsley of Pound, Virgina and Zachary Shreve and fiancé, Blaise Rasnick of Clincho, Virginia; mother, Debby Shreve of Dante, Virginia; three grandchildren, Landyn Sluss, Rayland Shreve and Owen Meade. Funeral Services for Richard Brian Shreve will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 14, 2019 in Castlewood, Virginia, with Jeff Rasnick officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood ,Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Gentry Shreve, Zachary Shreve, Mark Boyd, Jared Boyd, Mike Stanley and Drew Meade. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 14, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia.
