Ardith “Ardie”‘s Obituary Ardith “Ardie” Fischer, 103, Walker, MN, formerly of Deering, ND, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Edgewood May Creek in Walker, MN. Ardith was born on May 31, 1915, in Price County, WI, where she grew up and attended school. She was married to Eric Torgrimson from November of 1961 until his passing in January of 1983.

In May of 1983, she married Grayson Fischer. Grayson passed away in February of 1992. Places Ardith lived included Ashland, WI; Minneapolis, MN; Deering, ND; and Walker, MN.

She also enjoyed spending her winters in Sebring, FL. Ardith’s special interests included travel and gardening. She loved visiting Madeline Island, WI with her friend Becky.

Ardith had a great sense of humor and loved to visit with friends and play games, especially Skip-Bo. Ardith was preceded in death by her husbands and one brother. Memorial Service: Monday, January 7, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. at May Creek Senior Living, Walker, MN.

Graveside Service: Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
