Edith DeConcini, 98 of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at her home in Glen Carbon. Edith was born on April 27, 1920 in Collinsville, Illinois; the daughter of the late Chesre and Angelina (Buffo) Bontempo Bordone. Edith was a bookkeeper and in her free time she loved to spend time with her family.

She will be remembered for the love of her family and all the special times they shared together. Edith is survived by and will be missed by her children; Jerry DeConcini (Rose), William DeConcini, Kent DeConcini (Shirley), Raymond DeConcini, Sharon Massa, Marie DeConcini, Linda Tayon (John), Pamela DeConcini; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous close family members. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband; Raymond A. DeConcini Sr., whom she married on February 20, 1937; her son, Larry G. DeConcini Sr.; 1 grandson and 1 great-grandchild.

In celebration of Edith’s life a private family service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon. Burial will follow at Glen Carbon City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
